How to Add a Payment Method to Facebook Ads Manager?

To successfully add a payment method to an existing ad account, keep the following prerequisites in mind:

You must possess administrator privileges for the specific Facebook ad account. Without these rights, you might face an error.
Verify that the payment method you intend to use is one of the accepted payment methods for Meta ads.
Confirm that your account is not currently configured for available funds. If it is, you will need to follow the process for adding money using a manual payment method instead.
If this is your first ad and no payment information has been supplied, you will be prompted to add it before publishing. Account admins can proceed directly; non-admin users may receive an “invalid parameter” error.

Add Payment Method:

Open the link: business.facebook.com/settings.
Here you can manage all business-related tools and assets.

In the sidebar, look for Payment Methods.
This is where Facebook stores your billing details.

You will see a button in the center of the screen.
Click it to start the payment setup.

Enter your card, bank, or any available payment option.
Facebook will verify the details automatically.

From the sidebar, open Accounts, then select Ad Accounts.
This shows your connected ad profiles.

This opens the ad account where ads are billed and managed.

Here you can edit billing and account details.

This section controls payment limits, receipts, and billing.

Choose and add your preferred billing option.
